These double-lumen tubes create an airtight seal in the trachea and one main stem bronchus to allow independent ventilation of one lung. High-volume/low-pressure polyurethane cuffs, pilot balloons and proximal lumens are color-coded to help identify bronchial and tracheal lumens. A preinserted stylet helps maintain tube shape and ease intubation. The tubes include two OptiPort® right-angle, double-swivel connectors with multifunction ports to allow easy introduction of suction catheters and bronchoscopes without disconnecting the circuit. They also include a Carlen’s tube adapter and two extra-long suction catheters. These disposable tubes are individually packaged sterile unless package has been opened or damaged and are for single-patient use. Tubes are ethylene oxide gas sterilized and meet implant test per USP. Caution: Federal (USA) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
